Their hours & customer service are incredible. It’s nice to see a shop that has someone pleasant answering the phones & coordinating. That made the process very easy for us to get our car fixed. Plus the girls at the front were super sweet & were able to help us break down the costs on our bill before we paid & left. I just can’t give a higher rating when we were charged just to jump my car battery to see if it needed a new battery? I think this was the first time in my adult life where someone actually charged me to jump my car. If I would’ve known that I would’ve just had the AAA person jump & replace my battery for me instead of towing to here. My total bill just for a battery replacement was almost $500! I’ve never spent more than $300 on a battery. And to check the check engine light that came on was even more money. Thankfully I declined because the code cleared itself & never came back on. I could’ve had that checked out for free at auto zone. 😬 I’ll definitely be going to another shop unfortunately. This shop was way too expensive for us.

I've been taking my vehicles to Gages Lake Auto for years. Most recently my car's heater/defrost was getting too hot and I periodically smelled burnt plastic while driving. I brought my car to GLA and they fixed the problem at a reasonable price.
